Colin Taylor – Non-Executive Chairman
FPNA, FFin, MAICD
Colin is a retired banking executive with over 35 years of professional experience.
Colin held senior management positions with both Westpac and Bank SA in divisions as diverse as network management, marketing, property and finance culminating in being appointed General Manager, Commercial Banking for Bank SA in 1995 and serving for a period in 2003 as the Acting Managing Director of Bank SA. Colin was the General Manager at Bank SA until 2006 when he joined the new Executive Management team of AWB Limited, also in the role as General Manager, Financial Services. In this role, Colin was responsible for the Landmark Financial Services network and ultimately negotiated and facilitated the successful sale of the business to the ANZ Banking Group in mid 2010.
Colin’s previous Board appointments include: the Art Gallery of S.A. Foundation, National Heart Foundation, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Neurosurgical Research Foundation, Trustee of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) and the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia.
Colin is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the National Institute of Accountants.
Lachlan Perks – Executive Director

Lachlan is a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Keystone Capital Ltd.
Lachlan has in excess of 20 years experience in property investment, property development, funds management, corporate finance, interest rate trading, debt originations and risk management.
In addition to his role at Keystone, Lachlan is a Director of PPI Funds Management Pty Ltd, a specialist property fund manager with in excess of $750 million of assets under management.
Lachlan holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Commerce both from the University of Adelaide as well as a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University.
Tom Waltham – Executive Director
M.Sc Tech (Comm), BAcc, DIPFMBN
Tom is a Co-Founder and Executive Director of Keystone Capital Ltd.
Tom’s over 25 years of experience in the finance sector has cultivated strong project management, financial, analytical, and entrepreneurial skills across a broad range of industries. During his time at Keystone, Tom has overseen the origination, establishment, and management of over 350 loans.
Prior to Keystone, Tom also founded Capital United, a multi award winning debt advisory and broking firm, where he remains a Responsible Person on Capital United’s Australian Credit Licence No 394566. Tom has also previously worked as an accountant; a Senior Manager at an Australian University; and as a Senior Business Banking Manager for National Australia Bank Limited.
Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of South Australia, a postgraduate Master’s degree in Science & Technology Commercialisation from the University of Adelaide, a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Management from NSW TAFE, and a Certificate IV in Financial Services from
Swinburne University.
Dr Roger Sexton AM – Non-Executive Director
BEc (Hons), MEc, PhD (Econ), FAICD, SF Fin, CPMgr, CUniv
Roger is the Chairman of KeyInvest and has served on its board since 1 October 2003.
Roger is a leading investment banker with over 40 years’ experience in corporate reconstruction, financial planning, and funds management. He is a Director of several private and public company boards and organisations.
Roger is a former Chairman of ASX-listed IOOF Holdings Ltd (now Insignia Financial Ltd). In addition, Roger has served as a Member of the Australian Accounting Standards Board from 2010 to 2013 and is also a Fellow and past President of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Roger was awarded a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2011 Queen Elizabeth’s Birthday Honours.
Craig Brooke – Non-Executive Director
FFin, MAICD, MAICM
Craig was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of KeyInvest in October 2022. Craig has spent the past 26 years in senior leadership roles across the financial services industry in different parts of Australia as well as offshore within the Asia Pacific region. Craig previously worked with Bendigo and Adelaide Bank as Head of Enterprise lending Strategy and Credit Transformation.
Craig also held Senior Executive roles with ANZ and the Commonwealth Bank. In his last role with ANZ he was the Head of Operations across Australia which included share investing, margin lending, private bank and financial advice.

Jason Cooke – General Manager
B.Com, GAICD
Jason has over 25 years of experience in the finance sector, including 15 years of banking experience with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. During that tenure Jason garnered a very broad range of experience across business banking, corporate financial services and institutional banking as well as regional and agribusiness.
Jason’s last role within the Commonwealth Bank of Australia was as Senior Relationship Executive and member of the SA Regional & Agribusiness Leadership Team.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Adelaide as well as a Certificate in Business Banking Research from Charles Sturt University.
Stephen Lawrence – Chief Credit Officer
Stephen has 45 years of experience in banking and finance and has held senior operational and lending roles in substantial organisations in London, Sydney and Melbourne. Stephen’s two most recent roles prior to joining Keystone in 2023, were with La Trobe Financial from 2007 to 2019 and Pallas Capital from 2019 to 2023.
While at La Trobe, Stephen served as Deputy Chairman of the Origination & Credit Committee, Chairman of the Large Loan Committee and was also a member of the Audit & Risk Committee.
While at Pallas Capital, Stephen held the role of Executive Director of Lending. During this time Stephen and his team settled more than $3b of loans growing FUM from $130mil to $1.75bn.
